What you can expect

  • Some places are visited.
    Some places welcome you.

Your journey begins with a peaceful boat ride through a natural water cave, the only entrance to Dundj Valley — a secluded limestone valley near Tam Coc where a local farming family still lives.

Beyond the cave, discover a different side of Ninh Binh. Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, gardens, and rice fields, this hidden valley offers a rare glimpse into traditional Vietnamese countryside life.

Meet the family, walk through their gardens, see ducks and water buffaloes, and learn about their simple, self-sufficient way of life. Activities change naturally with the seasons, making every visit a little different.

The heart of your experience is a homemade 7-dish Vietnamese lunch or dinner, shared in a peaceful family setting. Enjoy local favourites such as crispy spring rolls, Dundj-style chicken, fresh vegetables, and traditional home-cooked dishes. Vegetarian options are available upon request.

After your meal, take time to relax, explore the natural surroundings, or simply enjoy the quiet atmosphere away from busy tourist attractions.

Dundj Valley is not a staged tourist village. It is a real family home, where nature, farming, and everyday life come together.

Come as a visitor. Leave with a local storey worth remembering.
