Discover the gentle, green countryside just outside Ningbo on this relaxed private day tour, designed for travellers who want authentic China without any strenuous effort. After a comfortable hotel pickup, your private vehicle and English-speaking guide take you to the peaceful Fuquan Mountain tea estate on the shores of beautiful Dongqian Lake.

Walk at your own easy pace along soft countryside paths lined with rows of vivid green tea bushes. Pause at scenic overlooks to take in sweeping views of rolling hills and the calm, mirror-like waters of mountain reservoirs. Your guide shares stories of the region's tea culture and the history of the area, including the nearby resting place of historical figure Shi Miyuan, all while keeping the rhythm leisurely and comfortable.

A tasty local lunch is included, giving you a real taste of Ningbo's home-style cooking in a tranquil rural setting. In the afternoon you continue gently along the lakeside greenway, passing tranquil reservoirs and shaded woodland, before arriving at charming Hengjie village.

There is also time to visit the serene Daci Temple beside Dongqian Lake, a lovely spot to soak up the local atmosphere and snap photos. Throughout the day, your private car is on hand so you can relax between stops, and your guide tailors the pace entirely to you. This is a wonderful introduction to the quieter, more authentic side of China, ideal for couples, families and anyone seeking a calm, scenic escape from the city.
