Naumburg beer was an export hit at the time and more popular (not only) among the people of Thuringia than their wine. Even Martin Luther regularly received a load of Naumburg beer. What might it have tasted like? And why was it responsible for the biggest catastrophe in Naumburg's history?
This guided tour combines a city tour of the most important landmarks and breweries in the city with a guided tour through the history of beer and the art of brewing over the past 1000 years.
