    Japanese Kitchen Knife Sharpening (approx. 60 min)
    Learn the traditional art of Japanese kitchen knife sharpening using a whetstone, guided step-by-step by expert staff who are deeply knowledgeable in traditional Japanese knife-making culture. After sharpening, test the blade yourself by slicing fresh cucumber. Compare the difference between a dull blade and a razor-sharp one. Take home the Japanese kitchen knives you sharpened yourself, in a free knife case for safe transport.

    At our on-site shop, you can also enjoy a bowl of matcha tea (available for purchase separately), along with a wide variety of Japanese dagashi snacks, regional canned goods, and umeshu (Japanese plum wine) from all across Japan.
