Description

Follow the sound of trumpeting conch shells to Maui's longest-running luau, where beach-side seating, free-flowing drinks, all-you-care-to-eat dinner, and dazzling Polynesian shows combine for the perfect Hawaiian evening.

Kick off the night with a tropical drink, beer, or glass of wine and watch the sun sink down while the the aroma of roasted pork rises up out of the traditional imu, an underground oven used to cook the meat to tender perfection. Once dinner is ready, head to the buffet and fill your plate with tropical fruits, authentic dishes like poi, fresh mahimahi, and—of course—kalua pork. If you're with little luau guests, there's even a kids' buffet featuring chicken nuggets, hot dogs, and Mac&cheese.

After dinner, watch the stage as rhythmic drumming draws out dancers to showcase traditional Hawaiian, Tahitian, Maori and Samoan performances alongside thrilling fire dances. With vivid choreography and mesmerising music, the show does more than entertain—it also tells the stories and legends of the islands.

The show started late. Non veg options are good but limited options for vegetarians when compared with Drums show in Hyatt. Also the drums had more vibe than Myths. The check-in and exit was messy. Stood in long queue just for checkin. Overall good (just said good because of efforts put in by dancers and stage performers. They gave their best. Aah also dessert choice was limited

Pros. The taste of the food was good Cons. The entrance was disorganized. We showed 30 minutes before the hour and was asked to wait in line, under the sun for 1 hour. We decided to go around the hotel to waste some time, since the the seats are reserved. When arrived again to the entrance 5 minutes before the recommended time, we still had to make 1 hour more more to be checked again and seated. Inside the venue, there where long lines for the buffet and long lines for the drinks. Although the waiters can bring you drinks, they were as equally slow. The taste of the main entrees was pretty good, though the desserts weren't. Summary. If you are a big eater, you can have a tasty meal and repeat as much as you can and consider the price a paymento for your dinner. As for the experience, I'll recommend trying another show.
