Overview

This private tour will allow you to experience first-hand the ancient art of glassblowing, dating back thousands of years. The tour begins with a fascinating private boat transfer from San Marco square (water taxi station) to the island of Murano, a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Upon your arrival in Murano, an expert local guide will welcome you and explain the history of Venetian glassmaking and every step of the glassmaking process. The experience includes a live demonstration of glassmaking with an authentic Venetian artisan. At the end of the glassmaking tour, you'll be taken back to Venice's historic centre aboard our motorboat, admiring the beauty of the city from the unmistakable perspective of the water. Our private motorboat will take you to the island of Murano, where you'll have the opportunity to visit one of Venice's oldest glassworks. An expert local guide will accompany you throughout the tour. You'll also have the exclusive opportunity to see how master glassmakers create their unique works and observe all the stages of artisanal glassmaking. The tour will continue in the shop/gallery, where you can admire the products made in the glass factory, including chandeliers, sculptures, and a series of jewellery pieces.
