What you can expect

Day Day 1: Sembalun Village (1,156m) - Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639m)
07:00-08:00: Breakfast at your hotel. 08:00: Pick-up and transfer to the Rinjani National Park office in Sembalun for registration. 09:00: Start the trek from Sembalun village. We walk through open grasslands to Pos 1 (1,300m) and Pos 2 (1,500m). 13:00: Lunch at Pos 3 (1,800m). After lunch, we tackle the steep ascent to the Sembalun Crater Rim (Pelawangan Sembalun). 17:00: Arrive at the crater rim. Your porters will set up camp and prepare dinner while you enjoy the sunset. Overnight at the crater rim.

Day Day 2: Summit (3,726m) - Sembalun Village - Next Destination
02:00: Wake up for a light breakfast. 02:30: Begin the challenging 3-hour climb to the summit. The route is steep and the terrain is loose volcanic scree. 06:00: Reach the summit to witness the spectacular sunrise over Sumbawa island, the crater lake, and the new volcano. 07:00: Descend back to the crater rim for a proper breakfast. 10:00: Start the descent back to Sembalun village. 13:00: Lunch break on the way down. 16:00-17:00: Arrive in Sembalun village. Our driver will be waiting to transfer you to your next destination (Senggigi, Mataram, Bangsal Harbour, or Airport).
