Ascend by aerial cable car to the top of beautiful Mt Pilatus, where you can enjoy hikes and gorgeous photo opportunities. Then come back down on the world’s steepest cogwheel railway and enjoy a boat trip on Lake Lucerne.

Meet your guide at the train station, where your coach awaits to take you on a picturesque tour of Switzerland. Begin with a journey through the Albis Pass and along the shores of the Lake of the Four Cantons to the enchanting town of Lucerne. During the short introductory city tour, visit the impressive Lion Monument and see the city’s most eminent landmarks, including the Chapel Bridge, the Jesuit Church and the Concert and Congress Halls. Then enjoy leisure time to stroll around Lucerne's beautiful Old Town.

Continue on to Kriens, where a trip on the panoramic gondolas of the aerial cable car takes you to the top of Mount Pilatus, 6,995 feet (2,132 m) above sea level. Venture down the Dragon Path, or make the short hike to the summit and relax on the panoramic terrace, admiring breathtaking views over the surrounding mountains and lakes. Then begin the thrilling descent on the world's steepest cogwheel railway, boasting a 48 degrees gradient, to Alpnachstad. Very full day on the Mountain and Lake Lucerne. Stop in Lucerne City center was frenetic. Not really enough time to " self guide".
