Mt. Fuji 5th Station is located at an elevation of 2,300 metres above sea level. On clear days, when the weather is good, you can enjoy a close-up view of Mount Fuji. The area has many souvenir shops where visitors can enjoy shopping. This is the main starting point for climbers heading to the summit of Mount Fuji. The official climbing season runs from mid-July to early September. During the peak hiking season, private vehicles are not allowed to access the 5th Station, and visitors must use a shuttle bus. The shuttle bus fee is ¥2,100 per person.
Chureito Pagoda

Chureito Pagoda (忠霊塔, Chūreitō) is a five-story pagoda perched on a hillside overlooking Fujiyoshida City, famous for its breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Fuji. Part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine complex, it was built in 1963 as a peace memorial and is accessible via around 400 steps from the shrine’s main grounds.

The ponds are sustained by snowmelt from Mount Fuji, which slowly passes through porous volcanic lava for over 80 years.
