What you can expect

  • Immerse yourself in the world of extra virgin olive oil and wild herbs at a family-run organic farm in Morcone. Begin with a walk among ancient olive groves, guided by an expert in wild herbs. Learn about local plants, their culinary uses, and collect them as you go.

Visit the farm animals, including cows, sheep, and chickens, and discover their connection to rural life. Back at the farm, take part in a sensory journey with an agricultural expert, featuring a tasting of extra virgin olive oils like Ortice and Leccino. Recognise their aromas, flavours, and aftertastes.

Next, join a cooking class dedicated to preparing a traditional soup made with the herbs you’ve gathered. End your experience with a convivial lunch and receive a participation certificate and a printed recipe of the soup to take home.

When available, continue your experience in the oil mill, where you’ll learn about the production techniques of EVO oil.
