With this experience, you are not booking a classic guided tour or a pre-defined itinerary of Montreal's main tourist attractions. You are booking a personalised day with a private local companion, a French person living here who knows the city, its areas, its codes, and the specificities of life in Quebec well. It's a bit like meeting an expat friend or cousin!
We'll explore Montreal together, at your own pace. During our walks and conversations, I will also share with you my impressions, practical information, anecdotes, and subtleties about the Montreal and Quebec lifestyle – those things that you don't necessarily find in guidebooks but that you discover by living here.

Do you want to explore the most iconic areas or, on the contrary, the more hidden ones? Do you want to find the spots where you can take the most beautiful photos of Montreal? Do you want to find places where you can eat well or do some “magasinage” (here, we don't say “shopping”) in the next few days? Perhaps you want to discover the city with a view to moving there? Are you passionate about food, sports, street art, architecture, or nature? In any case, I will adapt to your expectations; each experience is unique and personalised. So we could go to the Plateau Mont-Royal, city centre, Old Montreal, the top of Mont-Royal, Parc Jean-Drapeau, around the Olympic Park… there are plenty of routes!

A tip: if you can, plan this experience at the beginning of your stay. It could help you guide and enrich the rest of your programme.

But by the way, who is this person you're going to spend the day with? It's time for introductions… My name is Alexis, I'm 33 years old, I grew up in France (Vendée, Toulouse, Paris), and I'm now based in Canada. I'm also a journalist by training, so I'm very curious by nature and passionate about discovering new things and meeting people. In fact, I'm already looking forward to meeting you!
