Discover Milan from a Different Angle – a Jewish, Moving, and Surprising Perspective.
On this walking tour of up to three hours, we’ll explore the historic quarter of Milan and uncover the fascinating storey of the Jewish community, past and present.
We’ll get to know the different periods Milan has gone through and their impact on the Jewish community. Along the way, we’ll hear captivating stories about Jewish life in Milan, both in history and today. We’ll also learn about the history of the Jewish people across Italy, and in Milan in particular, while following Jewish traces and monuments scattered around the city’s streets, often in surprising and unique locations.
We’ll visit Milan’s must-see landmarks – such as the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, and other central highlights – and reveal the hidden Jewish connections within them.
During the tour, we’ll also visit the Sinagoga Centrale di Milano (Central Synagogue), located just a 10-minute walk from the Duomo. (Please note: entry must be arranged in advance.)
This experience combines the rich Jewish history of Milan with a classic city tour – a cultural journey that is moving, inspiring, and eye-opening.

Entry to the synagogue requires a minimum donation of €10 per person. Entry must be arranged in advance, and all visitors must bring their passports for security reasons. Please note: for last-minute bookings of Jewish heritage tours, synagogue entry cannot be guaranteed.
The Holocaust Memorial – Binario 21 – is not included in the tour. However, if you wish to visit in your free time, the guides will be happy to provide information and directions. (Check the museum’s official website for opening hours.)
