What you can expect

  • Experience the highlights of the Accademia Gallery on this semi-private Michelangelo’s David Express Tour, limited to just six participants. In one efficient hour, explore Florence’s most celebrated artworks with an expert guide who brings Renaissance masterpieces to life through engaging stories and insightful commentary.

Your guide will lead the small group through the gallery’s essential works, beginning with Michelangelo’s iconic David. Learn how the artist transformed a single block of Carrara marble into one of the most powerful symbols of artistic genius, human beauty, and strength. Continue into the Hall of the Prisoners, where Michelangelo’s unfinished figures appear to emerge from the stone, offering a fascinating glimpse into his creative process.

Along the way, admire additional masterpieces such as Giambologna’s dynamic Abduction of the Sabine Woman and Jacopo di Cione’s luminous Coronation of the Virgin. With a limited group size, you’ll enjoy a more personal atmosphere, plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and meaningful interaction with your guide.

Perfect for travellers seeking an intimate yet social experience, this 1-hour semi-private express tour delivers the very best of the Accademia, leaving you inspired and free to continue exploring Florence at your own pace.
