Overview

In t his tour i want to show part of my culture, how we live day by day, how we eat in the traditional way cuz this is how our friendly people live in Oaxaca.
the experience consists in take a cultural tour about Oaxaca and how the exchages of spicys from diferent parts of the wold influence in our cousin and how the Oaxacan ingridients Influence to the other part of the world, we gonna try Mexican food but not for that reason is necessary prehispanic.
we´ll drink some tradicional drinks like tejate that is in base of cacao and corn, pulque is fermented agave juice with a flavour similar to kombucha and a little bit of mezcal and for eating we will try different mexican street food in the centre of the bigest market of Oaxaca.

Activity itinerary

we will take a tour beetween the biggest market in Oaxaca City, the experience wants to introduce you how Oaxacans eat. We will start walking around of Plaza de la danza and then in la Soledad church talking about the history on the area. then we will be walking to Mercado de abastos that is five blocks of distance. In the market we will passing the different sections until a "puesto" where we will try some memelitas after them we will go for some "pulque" that is kind of a kombucham then we will go for some "tejate" that is a drink in base of corn, cacao, flowers and mamey almond.
