    Join our hiking tour to Iztaccihuatl! Get closer to the sky with every step and feel the the windy mountain air and conquer the snowy peaks. The awe-inspiring sights of the smoking Popocapetl are your reward. After defeating the summit, immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of a charming nearby town. Let’s trek the Mexican volcano together!

    Itinerary

    Gear up for the Iztaccihuatl Hiking Tour. Our journey begins by driving through the picturesque Valley of Mexico, admiring the landscapes and the standing Volcanoes.

    Soon, we arrive at Paso de Cortes, a mountain pass nestled between the mighty guardians of the land, the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes. At 3400 m altitude, the air feels crisp and stimulating.

    We’ll soon be in La Joya, a mountain hut perched at a breathtaking elevation of 3977 m. Here, surrounded by nature’s splendour, the conquer trek of 4-hours begins towards the snow line of the volcano.

    As we ascend the slopes of Iztaccihuatl, you’ll be rewarded with the marvelling panorama, revealing the awe beauty of the Valley of Mexico and the sight of Popocatepetl, Mexico’s second-tallest volcano.

    After defeating the giant guardians, we head to the charming town of Amecameca. Delight in exploring its beautiful historic centre and savouring the local food specialities.

    As the day draws to a close, relax in our vehicle, and cherish the achievement of climbing the peak. We’ll take care now of the journey back to Mexico City.
