What you can expect

Day 1: River Exploration & Island Camping
1:00 PM: Meet at Sorya Café for a delicious lunch and safety briefing.

We’ll take a short drive (22km) to our launch point.

Kayak Adventure: Paddle across the Mekong and glide downstream, weaving through beautiful sand islands, trees, and bushes.

Local Experiences: Enjoy a refreshing swim, taste Kratie’s famous bamboo sticky rice, and learn about river life and the endangered Irrawaddy dolphins.

Evening: As the sun sets, savour a campfire dinner on a sand island before falling asleep to the gentle sounds of the river.

Day 2: Dolphins & Homecoming
Morning Paddle: Journey through a serene flooded forest on your way to the dolphin habitat.

Dolphin Encounter: Spend peaceful morning time observing the rare Irrawaddy dolphins in their natural home.

After this special encounter, we’ll paddle a short way to Kampi village.

Our driver will meet you and bring you back to Sorya Café for a well-earned breakfast.
