What you can expect

Begin your experience by preparing the rice wine, traditionally fermented from glutinous rice. Next, roast fresh ginger over charcoal until fragrant.

Pound the roasted ginger to release its essential oils, then place the crushed ginger into a jar. Pour freshly distilled hot alcohol (65–70%) directly into the jar. Seal tightly and store for 3 months.

Finally, transfer the mixture into spray bottles for convenient use.
