After your guide meets you at your accommodation, embark on a personalised tour. Head south to Sabaneta, a religious community. El Peregrino´s “buñuelos” (fried dough balls) will whet your appetite as your guide shows you around the main square and the interesting food stores. Get a closer look at what locals use for food preparation, including corn, pork and beef among others.

Walk around and take photos. Explore the local cafeterias and restaurants. In Sabaneta village, try a delicious blood sausage at El Hijo de Estela´s, made from a special recipe that has been passed on over generations.

The last stop will take you to a village such as Envigado, home of the greatest chicharrón (pork bellies). At Gloria's Glory, your guide will tell tales of Gloria's achievements as Medellin's tastiest dishes are brought to your table.
