The second Laureles Park is a lovely green space in the heart of the Laureles area, known for its calm and welcoming atmosphere. The Laureles area has been ranked as one of the coolest areas in the world, and it's easy to see why. Its vibrant food scene is one of its biggest draws. Around the park, you'll find a wide variety of restaurants and cafes offering everything from traditional Colombian food to international options. You can enjoy typical dishes like the bandeja paisa, arepas, and empanadas, or explore global flavours at the cosy bistros and cafes surrounding the park. In addition, Laureles is famous for its bohemian vibe and lively tree-lined streets, where residents and visitors mingle in a safe and dynamic environment.

The Parque Pies Descalzos is an urban oasis in Medellín, designed to offer a space for relaxation and recreation in the centre of the city. Its name, which means "Barefoot Park" in English, invites visitors to take off their shoes and enjoy its large green areas, fountains and paths. It is a perfect place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the tranquility in the middle of the urban environment.

We will continue towards the administrative centre, passing by the Intelligent Building, an example of modern and sustainable architecture, and La Alpujarra, the heart of Medellín's public administration.

We will pass by the historic Antioquia Railway, a symbol of the industrial and economic development of the region.

We will continue towards Bolívar Park, a space full of history and culture, surrounded by historic buildings and commercial premises.

At the centre of the park is the statue of Pedro de Heredia, the founder of Cartagena. The park is surrounded by historic and commercial buildings, and is a great place to enjoy the urban atmosphere and experience everyday city life.

The Park of Lights, located in the heart of Medellín, is an emblematic space that symbolises the urban transformation and renewal of the city. This park, also known as Plaza Cisneros, stands out for its imposing light towers that illuminate at nightfall, creating a modern and futuristic urban landscape. Originally, the area where the park is located was an industrial and transport zone. Over time, it was transformed into a public space to revitalise the centre of Medellín. The park's design includes 300 light towers rising up to 24 metres, interspersed with water fountains and seating areas. These towers not only provide spectacular illumination, but also symbolise the city's rebirth and hope. Tourists visiting the Park of Lights can enjoy a vibrant and safe environment, ideal for taking photographs. It is a place to appreciate the mix of modern architecture with the history of Medellín.
