Know before you book

  • We don’t cover the entrance fees for Masada National Park (37 NIS/12 USD/10 Euro), the Masada cable car (54 NIS/18 USD/15 Euro), and the Ein Gedi Reserve (31 NIS/10 USD/9 Euro)

What you can expect

Meet your driver in Tel Aviv or Jerusalem. You will be driven through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea region, the lowest point on earth! On the way, you will stop at Sea Level Marker for a picture (time permitting) and you will pass the Inn of the Good Samaritan and the city of Jericho. Heading south alongside the Dead Sea, you will reach the foot of Mount Masada, the ancient fortress which was constructed in Roman times and is famous as the location of an iconic storey of heroism. At 09:30 you will ascend Masada by cable car and explore the site with guide. At 11:45 continue to Ein Gedi, a beautiful nature reserve and oasis where you will have a chance to take a short hike or walk through the cooling and beautiful surroundings, with your guide.

At 14:00 after Ein Gedi, you will continue to the Dead Sea where you will access a private beach and have a chance to float in the famous waters, and immerse in the muds that are so famous all around the world.

At 16:30 pm you will make your way back to the starting point and return to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv.
