What you can expect

Practical information

Schedule

  • Meet with the instructor at the L'Atelier de la Mer dive centre in the Port de la Pointe Rouge

  • Distribution of wetsuits, fins, and masks

  • Briefing on the activity's schedule and a safety briefing

  • Boarding the boat and departure for the diving site selected according to the weather conditions (20 to 25 minutes by boat)

  • Mooring of the boat at the diving site, then entry into the water with the instructor (1 diver to 1 instructor), who will equip you with the rest of the gear (tanks, etc.)

  • Dive for 20 minutes to a maximum depth of 6 metres

  • Snorkelling for the rest of the divers' underwater time

  • Drop-off on board and return trip to Pointe Rouge harbour (20 to 25 minutes of navigation) while debriefing on the introductory dive

  • Disembarkation, then return of the loaned equipment and presentation of the first dive certificates before the end of the activity (option to shower at the dive centre)

Prerequisites
Parental permission is required for minors participating in the activity.

Those who wish to participate in the outing as a tour leader, without taking part in the introductory dive, must reserve their place on the boat via the snorkelling activity.
