What you can expect

  • Escape the busy city and journey deep into Morocco’s wild desert landscapes on this 3-day adventure to the remote dunes of Erg Chegaga.

    Begin your trip in Marrakech with an early departure across the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka pass. Along the way, visit the famous Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed kasbah, before continuing towards the Draa Valley.

    Enjoy a relaxing lunch in Agdz, surrounded by palm groves and traditional kasbahs, before heading further south through ever-changing desert scenery. Continue towards Nkob, a quiet village known for its authentic atmosphere and beautiful kasbahs, where you will spend the night.

    On the second day, travel off the beaten track towards the vast and less crowded dunes of Erg Chegaga. Cross rocky desert, dry riverbeds, and open landscapes to reach one of Morocco’s most impressive Sahara regions. In the late afternoon, enjoy a camel ride across the dunes at sunset before arriving at your desert camp.

    The evening includes a traditional dinner, music around the fire, and a peaceful night under the stars. On the third day, after sunrise and breakfast, begin the return journey to Marrakech via a different route, passing through desert plateaus and small villages, with scenic stops along the way.
