What you can expect

  • Trade the bustle of Marrakech for a day on Morocco’s Atlantic coast. Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle to Essaouira, passing argan trees, rural landscapes, and Berber villages along the way.

During the journey, stop at a women’s argan oil cooperative to learn how argan oil is traditionally made and discover how it is used in cooking and cosmetics.

In Essaouira, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace. Wander through the UNESCO-listed medina, browse artisan workshops and local shops, or head to the fishing port to see its blue boats and lively waterfront. You can also visit the historic ramparts and Skala de la Kasbah for views over the Atlantic, or spend time relaxing on the wide sandy beach.

This is a self-guided visit, giving you the flexibility to choose how you spend your time in the city. If you select the lunch option, a main dish at a local restaurant is included. At the end of the day, travel back to Marrakech and be dropped off at your hotel.
