The sign is made of brown wood and reads NACARCOSTA. The receptionist will be waiting for you; just tell them you are coming on behalf of ALONSO. The guide has all the information, parking, and tickets, and will be waiting for you to start the adventure... Please be careful, because after the gas station (“Gasolinera”), there are many companies offering this activity. Please follow the instructions provided here, and don't forget the wooden sign that says NACARCOSTA. There, you will see the beautiful entrance in the middle of the oil palm plantation. This entrance has lovely heliconia flowers on both sides. Continue driving and you will pass a small bridge in the middle of a large bamboo grove. Keep driving until you reach the end, where you will find the Nacarcosta reception area, clearly marked with a sign. Right there, you will also find the private parking lot...

What you can expect

During this wonderful activity, we will discover the most well-camouflaged species in their natural habitat in the mangrove forests of the central Pacific coast of Costa Rica. Accompanied by a local guide with a trained eye, we will cruise and spot white-faced capuchin monkeys, crocodiles, snakes, a wide variety of birds such as herons and kingfishers, bats, and many more…
The boat is fully equipped and very safe for the entire family. The captain and guide will explain everything about the natural history of the species encountered.
