What you can expect

Learn the basics of footwear development by making a pair of simple slide slippers. This workshop is a practical training programme designed to teach you how to measure and cut slipper soles, design and attach straps, use basic shoemaking tools, apply proper gluing and finishing techniques, and create durable, wearable handmade slippers.

Combine traditional craftsmanship with simple, scalable production methods. Gain knowledge in basic footwear design principles, materials selection (rubber, EVA, straps, adhesives), costing and pricing strategies, small-scale slipper production setup, and quality control and finishing.

By the end of the session, take home your own handmade pair of slippers.
