Amazon Adventure with Jungle Camping – 3 Days
Experience an authentic journey in the heart of the Amazon with this 3-day itinerary designed for those who want to explore the forest intensely, safely, and unforgettably. Far beyond traditional tours, this adventure combines nature, culture, wildlife observation, and a night camping in the jungle.
The journey begins in Manaus, with a transfer to Lake Juma. Along the way, you'll witness the famous Meeting of the Waters of the Negro and Solimões rivers, one of the most impressive natural phenomena in the Amazon. After arriving at the jungle lodge and enjoying a regional lunch, the programme continues with a tranquil canoe trip through the flooded forests and channels of the region, providing direct contact with nature and opportunities to observe birds, river dolphins, and other animals typical of the forest.
During the afternoon, participants will experience traditional piranha fishing, a very popular activity among locals. The day ends with a spectacular Amazonian sunset and an exciting nighttime alligator spotting tour, where it's possible to observe these fascinating animals in their natural habitat. The second day begins at dawn with a canoe trip to contemplate the awakening forest. This is one of the best times for birdwatching and to appreciate the tranquility of the Amazonian rivers. After breakfast, a guided walk through the jungle reveals curiosities about ancient trees, medicinal plants, and survival techniques used by traditional communities in the region.
In the afternoon, the adventure takes on an even more special touch with a trip to a forest camp. Participants learn to build a traditional shelter known as a tapiri and learn basic jungle survival techniques. The night is spent in hammocks with mosquito nets, providing an authentic experience amidst nature. Before resting, a night canoe trip allows you to appreciate the sounds of the forest and the starry Amazonian sky.
On the last day, breakfast is served at the camp itself, followed by the return to the lodge. Before the return trip, the group visits a local caboclo family to learn about their customs, traditions, and way of life that maintains a strong connection with the forest.
After a regional lunch, the return trip to Manaus begins. The experience concludes with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a profound connection to the largest rainforest on the planet.
Perfect for adventurers, nature lovers, and travellers seeking genuine experiences, this itinerary offers a unique combination of exploration, learning, and immersion in Amazonian culture.
