What you can expect
The chef Yvonne will welcome you and provide you with an apron, shows you all the ingredients on the table and also some demonstrative pictures.
Once you are ready she will teach you how to make the traditional pesto sauce, with the use of the mortar and the pestle and finally comes your time! You begin to put the ingredients gradually in the mortar and to handle them, while the chef will tell about the history and the origin of one of the most famous sauces in the world.
Once the basil seedlings are bare the pesto is ready! You can now taste your own job with the focaccia hand made by the chef, together with a glass of Cinque Terre wine.
Take your time to relax and enjoy the magic of the Ligurian flavours.
