Step into a fairytale at Funnys Äventyr, a creative and playful house of culture for kids in Malmö. Wander through beloved children’s books and explore six interactive play exhibits.
Imagine a fairytale landscape where you step right into some of our best loved children’s books. Peek into Alfie Atkins kitchen, jump in the hay at Pettson & Findus's farm, take a ride on Bamse's boat Viktoria, go back to the Viking Age with Halvdan and Meia, visit Moominvalley, get to know the ordinary but unusual girl Funny and her friend Humble the Bumblebee.
Experience fun, exciting and educational theatre every day. There is plenty of space here for many visitors, big and small. Did you know that many children get to experience their very first theatre at Funnys Äventyr? The performances are between 10-20 minutes long so that everyone with running legs can also experience theatre. The theatre is included in your ticket and does not need to be booked in advance, it is first come, first served. The theatre is performed in Swedish.
Experience fairy tales in a different way in the carousel of stories. This is a carousel like no other. Take a seat on the benches, put on your headphones and choose which language you want to listen to, you can choose between Swedish, English, German, Danish and Arabic. The ride takes about 15 minutes and takes you through the stories of Alice in wonderland, Aladdin and The little Mermaid. You don't need a ticket, ride as many times as you want!
Take a break and sit down in our café. Lunch is served here every day from 11:00 to 14:00 and smaller meals and fika the rest of the day. You can visit the café without paying an entrance ticket to the fairyland, just let us know at our ticket office and we will let you in. Bringing your own food is unfortunately NOT allowed at Funnys Äventyr. Need to heat baby food? A microwave is available, and our staff will be happy to help. We adapt as much as possible according to allergies and food preferences. Always ask us if you are unsure about our ingredients.
We also have Sweden's first Moomin Shop! Buy a mug or two with the famous Moomin designs. Books, socks, t-shirts or maybe just a nice key ring? In the shop, there are products from all our fairy tale characters who live upstairs. The books about Alfies Atkins, small figures from Pettson & Findus, the tales about Funny and the bumblebee Djojj as a stuffed animal, Viking things from Halvdan & Meia and of course lots of Bamse toys.
