This Machu Picchu tour begins with pickup from your hotel. We will first take you to the available train station, which may be the PeruRail or IncaRail station. After a journey of approximately 2 hours, we will arrive at the Ollantaytambo train station, where we will board the train to Aguas Calientes. After a journey of 1 hour and 45 minutes, we will arrive at the Aguas Calientes station, where our guide will be waiting for you to provide you with more information about this small town.
Depending on the Machu Picchu entry time, you will join our guide in the line to take the bus to the Machu Picchu citadel (approximately 30 minutes).
After passing through the checkpoint at Machu Picchu, our adventure will begin and last for approximately 3 hours. During this time, you will have plenty of opportunity to take the classic photo of Machu Picchu, visit the main temples of the citadel, learn more about our culture, and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of the origins of the Incas.
Later, you will go down to Aguas Calientes and, depending on your return time, report to the station for your trip back to Ollantaytambo, where we will wait before transferring you back to your hotel in Cusco.
