What you can expect

  • Begin your tour at Manufaktura, the former textile factory of Israel Poznanski, now a vibrant shopping and cultural complex. Learn about the history of the place, from the power of industry to its modern revitalisation.

Next, stroll through Liberty Square (Plac Wolności), the heart of old Lodz, where you'll learn about the city's early development and unusual architectural details.

Continue to a section of Poland's most famous street, Piotrkowska Street. Admire beautiful Art Nouveau townhouses, local galleries, and famous murals.

Finally, visit OFF Piotrkowska, a symbol of the new, creative Łódź. This former factory complex now houses restaurants, clubs, and artists' studios. Hear about the transformation of the place and get recommendations for interesting local addresses.

Throughout the tour, hear stories about the factory owners, workers, artists, and inhabitants who created the multidimensional identity of Łódź.

We will also taste Łódź specialities such as zalewajka or żulik.
