Depart from Cairns Airport in the morning and soar over the aqua blue water of the Coral Sea. Arrive at Lizard Island, welcomed by the mosaic of sand and coral formations just below the surface. Follow your guide on a walking tour to Watson’s Bay for swimming and snorkelling. While there, explore the clam gardens and sub-aquatic shelters that host an array of marine life. Relax on the beach with a delicious picnic lunch while you savour the sights.
Your return journey takes a different route passing over the Cape Flattery sand hills, Cooktown, and the Bloomfield River. Get a last glance at Daintree River and Port Douglas before before landing at Cairns Airport and bidding your pilot farewell.
