Our guided tour follows the route of grain arrival to distillation along the banks of the River Shannon. Participants will be taken on a tour of the many sights but more importantly they will discover the lost heritage of Limericks Whisky Production including docking, grain storage/malting, whisky production and shipping. Key sights along the tours include: - River Shannon - Dockers monument - Terry Wogan Monument - St. Marys Cathedral - Wild Geese Fountain - Limericks Potatoe Market - King Johns Castle - Treaty Stone
Hunt Museum (Pass by)
The tour will move through the grounds of the Hunt Museum and the visitors will see some of the beautiful sculptures and artwork.
Saint Mary's Cathedral (Pass by)
There will be an opportunity to take some photos as the group passes St. Mary's Cathedral.
King John's Castle (Pass by)
The tour proceeds along the old walls of King Johns Castle and there is ample opportunity for photographs of the exterior.
