The Tagliamento River is a succession of wonderful and evocative scenery, from the fertile soils of the colourful Bibione countryside to the spectacular lagoon, passing through the fragrant willow woods, amidst silence and peace.

The Tagliamento is the king of the Friulian rivers. Peaceful and majestic, between an embankment and a bridge, it is the silent travelling companion of many nature lovers. It is one of the few European rivers that flows naturally within its own embankment. In the northern area, it is more impetuous and gravelly, while in the south it becomes gentler and more placid, just before it meets our beloved Adriatic Sea.

It is precisely in the southern stretch that our journey begins aboard the majestic “Emerald River” ship, named after the characteristic emerald colour of the river's water. It is a 40 m x 10 m floating boat with three decks, two enclosed and one open with a terrace and bar.

The appointment is every Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Marina Azzurra Resort to cast off the moorings and set off on a 2.5-hour excursion. During the excursion, you will be able to admire the Tagliamento River in a completely new way, going up the river to the level of Pertegada and then reaching the mouth and admiring the beaches of Bibione and Lignano from a different perspective.
During the cruise, you will be accompanied by pleasant background music and you can enjoy a delicious plate of pasta with seafood. A bar service is available to guests throughout the day.
