The Learn to Dinghy Sail (Adults) programme is a certified, skill-based sailing certificate course designed for adults who want to truly learn how to sail, who want to tick that desire from their bucket list. The good news is you can learn with us at any age starting at 7 years (the kids course in a smaller relevant boat) to adults at any age. Conducted exclusively in Goa, this course introduces you to the fundamentals of dinghy sailing in a structured, confidence-building way so that you can sail a boat on your own in JUST 2 DAYS!
Sailing is a life skill you can begin at any age and pursue for a lifetime. Whether you are completely new to sailing or looking to build a strong foundation, this programme helps you become independent, confident and competent on the water — all within a supportive, professional and safety-first environment.And we make it fun. We are known to be hospitable and caring too.

You get access to our world class Sailing Centre located inside a premium 5 star property with locker and shower facility. Our boats are among the best brands in the worlds .Safety is our Key focus area and we are proud of our customer focus and our hospitality.
Please wear clothes that are easy to sail in (light cloths that can protect you from the sun and can quickly dry - surf wear would be ideal ) Avoid tight and uncomfortable clothing. A cap and sunglasses are recommended. Please bring:
A change of clothes (1 or 2 sets) including undergarments as you may get wet.
Footwear that you can get wet in as you will have to step into the water with your footwear on. Ideal footwear is comfortable with a good grip (ex: crocs, floaters, open sandals with straps). Please do not wear high heels.
Your personal medication, if you need it
Extra sun cream, should you have a preferred brand
Minimum age is 2 years

Activity itinerary

Course Structure & Itinerary • Arrive at Aquasail Lounge, located within the Grand Hyatt Goa, Bambolim. Note that this is centrally located between North and South and hence convenient wherever you are staying. Structure your course over 2 days or 3 half days (as available and convenient) • Lunch at Grand Hyatt is included in the course • Orientation and safety briefing by experienced instructors. • Hands on introduction to dinghy sailing fundamentals — boat handling, steering, sail control and balance, points of sail etc. Theory covered as you learn • Safety and Seamanship and theory are all part of the course. Work books etc included • Certificate from the Aquasail Yachting Academy • Learn to rig, sail, manoeuvre and recover the boat confidently. • Continuous instructor feedback and guided learning making you confident and competent • The course concludes with participants able to sail independently and confidently under specified conditions.
