Discover Cotubanamá National Park on a small-group experience combining a motorised catamaran cruise, guided snorkelling, tropical nature and some of the Caribbean’s most beautiful waters.
Your adventure begins early, with the catamaran departing at around 8:30 AM. Travelling earlier allows you to reach the different stops before the busiest part of the day. With a maximum of 20 guests on board, the experience is designed to offer more space, a relaxed atmosphere and personal attention throughout the day.
Your first stop is Catuano, where you’ll enjoy a 30 to 40-minute guided snorkelling session. Before entering the water, your professional guide will explain how to use the mask and snorkel and provide important safety instructions. The guide stays in the water with the group throughout the activity, making the experience suitable for both experienced snorkellers and complete beginners.
Continue your journey through the national park towards Saona Island. After reaching the island, take a short 10-minute walk through the tropical forest to access a secluded beach area away from the main arrival points.
Spend approximately 3 hours at the beach, with plenty of time to swim in the turquoise Caribbean Sea, relax beneath the palm trees or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Thanks to the early departure, you can experience the beach during its quieter hours, before larger groups arrive.
At lunchtime, enjoy a private buffet reserved exclusively for your group, served at the beach with included drinks. Take your time over lunch and enjoy the laid-back Caribbean atmosphere.
In the afternoon, board the catamaran again and cruise to Las Palmillas Natural Pool. Spend approximately 1 hour swimming and relaxing in its shallow, crystal-clear waters surrounded by the Caribbean Sea.
After your final swim, cruise back towards Bayahibe, arriving at approximately 5:00 PM.
