Rancho San Lorenzo, a working ranch.
Nestled between the Coyote mountains and the Sea Of Cortez, we are 1000 acres of animal sanctuary. This other-worldly stretch of desert mountain range is home to rabbits, foxes, deer and of course our very own ranch animals like goats, donkeys, horses and even ostriches! We offer guests a chance to enjoy the natural wonders of Baja in an intimate and exciting way.
We strive to offer guests an experience that goes above and beyond anything else offered in Mexico. We care for our animals in a way that you wont find anywhere else. We never push our horses too hard and are constantly ensuring the physical and mental health of all of our animals. You can jump in the saddle knowing that the horse you are riding truly has a good quality of life.
Whether you want to ride horses down the beach, go hiking in the mountains or just relax at our beautiful property and sip a glass of wine, there is something for everyone at Rancho San Lorenzo.
Our horseback riding experiences go above and beyond the typical standards for riding in Mexico. Not only does our location allow us to access the very best beaches and mountain trails, but we also constantly ensure the physical and mental health of our horses. We only ride the horses in the mornings and evenings, giving them a break in the middle of the day when the sun is at its hottest. In addition to this, we only feed our animals the best quality food and have licensed veterinary surgeons providing regular check-ups. You will truly appreciate the quality of life for our animals.
You will enjoy a 2.5-hour horseback ride. After your ride, enjoy a meal of breakfast or dinner, depending on the time of your ride.
Meet your guide at the ranch and get to know the horses before setting off on your ride. Explore the desert mountain range, home to rabbits, foxes, deer, and ranch animals like goats, donkeys, horses, and ostriches.
This activity includes a Day Pass to the ranch, which includes access to paddle boarding, kayaking, mountain biking, and more.
Ride along the beach, go hiking in the mountains, or just relax at the ranch and sip a glass of wine.
