What you can expect

Get to know the history of La Gomera and its people with an outdoor visit to the island’s Ethnographic Museum, a truly eclectic experience.

Gain your entry ticket and become a whizz about the island and its people from pre-Spanish times to La Gomera of today. Choose a standard entry, or a ‘“deluxe” experience, with local food and drink tastings included.

Start your visit between the terraces, where you will take in the sights and smells of the banana plantations, and other crops and fruit trees present on La Gomera today. Even find out how Palm Syrup, a very Gomeran product, is made.

Get a glimpse of how La Gomera was formed and how its current landscape was imprinted by manmade features. During your visit you, listen to the “Gomeran whistle” and see the largest Gomeran antiques collection in the 3 exhibit areas. In the main exhibit building, you will also see a functioning watermill.

If the “deluxe” option is chosen, end your experience with your tasting of local products.
