Itchan Kala, the inner fortress of Khiva, is located to the South of the Amu Darya River in the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan and it was the last resting-place of caravans before crossing the desert to Persia. Itchan Kala has a history that spans over two millennia.
Kalta Minor Minaret (Pass by)
It amazes with its size and unique design. Foundation of the minaret is 15 metres, diameter at the foundation is 14,5 metres and the height is 29 metres. But this massive tower has only third part of the project height.
