  • Embark on a multi-day trekking safari to the summits of two of Kenya’s most remarkable mountains. This experience is perfect for adventure seekers, experienced hikers, and nature lovers looking to explore Kenya beyond the traditional safari.

    Begin with Mount Elgon, an ancient extinct volcano located on the Kenya–Uganda border. Known for its vast caldera, unique cave systems, and gentle gradients, Mount Elgon provides an excellent acclimatisation climb.

    Trek through montane forests, bamboo zones, and open moorlands while encountering wildlife such as colobus monkeys, buffalo, and antelope. A highlight of the Elgon trek is the visit to Kitum Cave, famed for its mineral-seeking elephants and dramatic lava formations.

    After completing Mount Elgon, continue to Mount Kenya, Africa’s second-highest peak. This climb offers a more technical and physically demanding challenge, making it a perfect progression after Elgon. Ascend through lush rainforests, giant bamboo stands, and Afro-alpine landscapes dotted with giant lobelias and senecios.
