What you can expect

Set out on a full-day sea kayaking adventure from Üçağız Village in Kekova National Park. After a short safety briefing and gear check with your certified guide, you begin paddling across the clear turquoise waters of Kekova. Glide quietly above the ancient Sunken City, once part of the Lycian coast, and explore the quiet coves and limestone cliffs shaped by centuries of wind and sea.

Arrive at the timeless village of Simena, reachable only by water, where stone houses rise towards a medieval castle overlooking the bay. Take a relaxed break here and enjoy a fresh Mediterranean picnic prepared daily from locally sourced ingredients. There is time for swimming, exploring, or simply resting in the shade before the return journey.

On the way back, when the sea and weather allow, your guide may include a short stop for cliff jumping or another swim in a hidden cove. It is a fun and refreshing way to end the day.

The route is designed for small groups and an easy pace, offering a balance of adventure, history, and calm. Whether this is your first time in a kayak or you are already experienced, you will find a day full of colour, movement, and connection with the sea.

• From Kaş Peninsula: about 60 min. departs from the main road near your accommodation.

Our base is right by the water, under a large eucalyptus tree; you can also ask for “Kalealtı” in the village if you need directions. There is parking available nearby. The fee is usually collected at the village entrance or exit, and spaces can fill up during summer. The village center has a small shop for water and snacks, and there is a public WC close by. We’ll be coming from Kaş, so please be patient; we’ll be there right on time. ⏰
