What you can expect

  • Begin your journey in Pinakates, a peaceful mountain settlement known for its untouched charm and traditional stone-built architecture. Stroll through narrow cobblestone lanes, admire historic houses that have remained unchanged for generations, and enjoy panoramic views over the lush Pelion landscape in a quiet, uncrowded setting.

Continue to Vizitsa, one of Pelion’s most elegant villages, famous for its impressive archontika (traditional mansions) and perfectly preserved architectural character. Wander through its picturesque alleys surrounded by greenery and discover the unique harmony of its 18th- and 19th-century buildings. During your visit, enjoy a tasting of local honey and traditional Pelion products, offering a delicious introduction to the area’s culinary heritage.

Your final stop is Milies, one of Pelion’s most historic and culturally significant villages, nestled among chestnut and olive trees. Explore its rich past with a visit to the Church of Taxiarches (1741) and the local folklore museum, where you’ll gain insight into traditional life in Pelion.

Enjoy free time in Milies to explore at your own pace—visit the charming station of the legendary Pelion steam train, browse small local shops, or relax in the village square. You may also choose to enjoy a traditional Greek lunch at a local taverna (optional), tasting authentic regional dishes before returning comfortably to Volos Port.
