What you can expect

  • Explore the coastal waters of Fajardo at your own pace with a self-guided kayak experience at Cabezas de San Juan. Choose the available rental duration that best fits your plans and enjoy the flexibility to paddle, pause, and take in the surrounding scenery on your own schedule.

Begin at Pirate Snorkelling Shack, where the staff will help prepare you for the water. Receive your kayak, paddle, and life jacket, along with an equipment fitting, basic paddling instructions, and a safety orientation before launching. The staff will also explain the designated paddling area and the conditions for the day.

Once on the water, paddle independently and enjoy an active outdoor experience with family, friends, or on your own. This is a self-guided rental, so a guide will not accompany you during the activity.

Wear your life jacket, follow all safety instructions, remain within the designated paddling area, and return the equipment at the scheduled time. Access and paddling areas may change depending on weather and sea conditions.
