What you can expect

Meet at the Main Square in Katowice, where we will start our bike ride. See the Silesian Insurgents' Monument and Arena Spodek, the city's landmark. Then, through the Culture Zone, reach Bogucice (the oldest district of Katowice). Admire Basilica of Saint Stephen and Our Lady of Bogucice and a mural depicting the legend of world Himalayan mountaineering - Jerzy Kukuczka. Then, through the Valley of the Three Ponds, a popular recreation spot, reach Nikiszowiec. Nikiszowiec boasts buildings from the early 20th century and shows the life of a typical Silesian “family home”.
On the way back, visit the Paderewski Housing Estate and the Silesian Parliament Square. Discover the majesty of the Archcathedral of Christ the King, where Pope John Paul II visited. Finally, enjoy the bustling streets of Dworcowa and Mariacka.
