What you can expect

Immerse yourself in the rich history of Kamakura, the ancient capital of the Samurai, on this 4-hour guided tour.

Meet your guide at Kamakura Station and begin your journey. First, head to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, Kamakura's most important Shinto shrine. Feel the spiritual heart of the city that was founded by the first Shogun. After exploring the shrine, stroll down the famous Komachi Street, a lively street packed with local crafts, souvenirs, and intriguing snacks.

Next, hop on the beloved Enoden train for a short ride to Hase Station. From there, visit Hase Temple (Hase-dera), famous for its magnificent 11-headed statue of Kannon, the goddess of mercy—one of the largest wooden statues in Japan.
