Military Cemetery (1824–1905). We will make a special visit to the historic European War Cemetery, a hidden landmark that offers a unique glimpse into the colonial and military history of Cape Coast.

Victoria Park/Jubilee Park. Victoria Park was named in honour of Queen Victoria of Great Britain during the colonial era. It served as a significant public space in Cape Coast. The park is historically linked to the Aborigines' Rights Protection Society (ARPS), which played a crucial role in the struggle against colonial land policies.

Emintsimadze Palace: We will visit the exterior of the Emintsimadze Palace, the majestic seat of the Oguaamanhen (Paramount Chief). Here, I will share stories about the resilience of Fante traditional leadership, the palace's role as a bridge between tradition and modern diplomacy, and the cultural vibrancy of the Oguaa Fetu Afahye festival.

Our first destination is the world-renowned Kakum National Park. Experience the thrill of the Canopy Walkway—seven suspension bridges hanging 40 metres above the tropical rainforest floor. It is a breathtaking way to see the "lungs of Ghana" and capture incredible photos of the ancient canopy during our 90-minute stay.

Fort William (The Lighthouse) The journey continues to Dawson’s Hill for a visit to Fort William (The Lighthouse). This elevated spot offers a cooling ocean breeze and a spectacular 360-degree panoramic view of the red-roofed city. Built in 1821, it provided a strategic lookout to defend the Cape Coast area.

To conclude, we head to the Lemon Lounge Restaurant. Relax by their cool air conditioner with a quintessential Ghanaian feast: authentic Ghana Jollof Rice with fish or chicken and sweet, spicy Kelewele (fried plantains).
