Calling all nature lovers and art aficionados, the Joy Ride E-Bike Tour combines the natural beauty of spruce forests meeting the Atlantic Ocean’s rocky coastline with the art inspired by it. Our first stop will be Villard Studios where Kim and Philippe Villard's woodblock prints brought the beauty of the Boothbay Peninsula into the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art (MOMA), NY. We’ll ride through quaint areas along the Linekin Bay coastline, along an old Indian trail skirting a hidden pond, and enjoy stunning views of Boothbay Harbor’s working waterfront. A feast for all five senses!

We'll visit Villard Studios, the last working studio of the 1901 Commonwealth Art Colony, for a studio tour and art demo by the artists, Kim and Philippe Villard.

Appalachee Pond (Pass by)

A beautiful hidden pond tucked alongside an old Indian trail used for centuries by the Wawenock tribe.

Barrett's Park (Pass by)

Ride the coastline around Lobster Cove and Linekin Bay.

4 Nahanada Rd (Pass by)

Tour through forested Sprucewold, home of the historic Sprucewold Lodge and an historic log cabin village.

Grandview Avenue (Pass by)

Our route out to the end of Spruce Point hugs the coastline and provides spectacular views of the outer harbour with harbour islands and lighthouses.

Spruce Point Inn Resort & Spa

The Spruce Point Inn was a favourite holiday destination for the Kennedy family and Ernest Hemingway. We’ll have a fabulous view of Burnt Island Lighthouse and time for photo opportunities.
