Begin with pick-up at 8.30 am from your desired place in Jaipur and visit this splendid modern marble edifice that lies at the foot of Moti Dungri fort - Birla Lakshmi Narayan Temple. The wealthy industrialist Birla family, from Pilani, Rajasthan, bought the land on which the temple now stands from the maharaja for a token sum of one rupee. Built with white marble it is also known as the Laxmi Narayan temple and is the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.

The beautiful 16th-century yellow-colored stepwell lies in the shadow of a famous fortress Amber Fort. A pretty baori (step-well) with geometrical designs and sharp shadows that has been restored. This setpwell was built so the people of Amer could collect water, which was later used at many temples nearby. Women also came here to fill their water pots for household work. Apart from this, Panna Meena ka Kund was a resting place for many travellers—business people and saints alike—as the temperature inside the stepwell is significantly cooler.
