Join me for a day of cooking, sharing, and exploring the flavours of Istanbul. We’ll start in the lively markets of Kurtuluş, where you’ll see locals buying fresh produce, spices, and handcrafted goods from family-run shops that have been around for generations. As we walk through the area, we’ll stop by my favourite spice store, charcuterie, bakery, and pickle shop, tasting and learning about the ingredients we’ll use in our meal.
Once we’ve gathered everything we need, we’ll head to my home, where we’ll cook together in a cosy, welcoming kitchen. Whether we’re rolling dolma, making flaky börek, or preparing a table full of meze, I’ll guide you through the small but important details that bring these dishes to life. But this is more than just a cooking class—it’s an opportunity to experience real Turkish home life, where food is about connection, hospitality, and sharing stories around the table.
When everything is ready, we’ll sit down to enjoy the meal we’ve prepared together, savouring traditional flavours and heartfelt conversation. By the time you leave, you won’t just have learned new recipes—you’ll have a deeper connection to Turkish culture, wonderful memories, and the feeling that you’ve shared a meal with an old friend.
