Get to know the wilderness of the Amazon jungle through a FULL DAY excursion.

Our lodge is situated deep in the confines of this famous forest. Scout for local wildlife like sloths, monkeys, birds, caimans, piranhas and more as you enjoy river boat rides, visit an Amazonian village, and enjoy the atmosphere of this incredible outdoor environment.

Excursion with which you will be able to know the main tourist attractions of the city, among which the walks along the calm and peaceful Momón River, a tributary of the great Amazon. During the excursion you will navigate through large rivers ,seeing the most important Amazonian fauna and also getting to know the Boras tribe, indigenous people known worldwide for having participated in numerous films, documentaries and reality shows.

On board our comfortable and safe traditional boat, the trip along the Amazon River will allow you to appreciate a wonderful panorama where the river’s magnificence winds its way through the lush jungle. Observation of the confluences between the Nanay and Amazon rivers. Dolphin Watching (grey or pink dolphins) along the way.

Visit to the Indigenous Community – KUKAMA TRIBE : We will visit and dance with them, as they have been guardians of the region’s biodiversity, using their deep knowledge of plants and natural medicine to survive in this challenging environment. Additionally, their rich oral tradition has passed down stories and myths explaining their origins and their relationship with nature.

MONKEY ISLAND – Neyser : Continuing our navigation along the Amazon River, we will enter a creek to visit monkeys in their natural habitat. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by different monkey species that live there, where we can learn about each one, feed them, play with them, and take photos… all in their natural environment!

WILDLIFE RESCUE CENTER : We will head to the Wildlife Rescue Centre (“Fundo Rony”) to observe and interact with some of the wild animal species, such as sloths, monkeys, macaws, toucans, boa constrictors, and turtles. This will be an interesting way to learn to appreciate and respect the wildlife typical of our Amazon. Reminder: In this centre, these animals are kept in cages because they are being cared for before being released back into the wild.

Arrival at our Lodge for lunch: Typical jungle cuisine. (Please inform us in advance if you prefer a vegetarian option.) After lunch, take some time to relax, explore the camp’s surroundings, or unwind by the pool. At the appropriate time, we will take our boat back to Iquitos.
