Day 1: Iquitos – Amazon Lodge
Reception at the Iquitos airport and, depending on arrival time, pedestrian City Tour. Transfer to the private dock to board the boat. Sailing along the Amazon River, you visit the floating houses (November to July) and observe the imposing bridge that crosses the Nanay River. The trip continues exploring the coastal hamlets. Upon arrival at the Amazon Lodge, a typical drink, assignment of private cabins, typical self-service lunch, walk through the jungle, sunset over the Amazon River, night walk to observe wildlife and dinner are offered. We spent the night at Amazon Lodge.

Day 2: Shasho Cocha lagoon - Amazon Lodge
In the morning canoe excursion through the Shasho Cocha lagoon to observe birds and the legendary Shansho-Hoatzin, as well as herons and jacamares. Breakfast, visit to the Yagua native group to learn about their culture, hunting demonstration with the “Cerbatana” and opportunity to exchange or purchase handicrafts. Typical self-service lunch. In the afternoon, tour of the Amazon River to visit the rescue centre with preserved animals, search for grey and pink dolphins, and night canoe excursion to spot alligators and listen to the sounds of the jungle. Dinner and accommodation at Amazon Lodge.

Day 3: Amazon lodge – Paiches Hatchery
Morning walk for bird watching. breakfast, tour of the amazon river with the observation of the largest freshwater fish, the arapaima gigas-paiche. walk through the town to learn about its daily life and return to the hostel. Typical lunch. Canoe tour along the yana yacu tributary river, special for photography. dinner and accommodation at Amazon Lodge.

Day 4: Amazon Lodge - Recreational fishing – Iquitos
Breakfast with observation of the Victoria Regia, the largest aquatic lilac in the world. Recreational fishing excursion with typical rods, capturing species such as catfish, sardines and voracious piranhas. Typical self-service lunch. At 2 pm return to Iquitos with a visit to the native Kukama group along the way, learning about their customs, dialect, dances and the typical drink, Masato. Arrival in Iquitos and transfer to the hotel or airport.
